Pease & Curren celebrated 90 years in business in 2006. The company, which was started by the Curren's grandfather in 1916 in a basement in Providence's jewelry district, has been the same manufacturing plant since 1989. The last of the Pease family members in the business, Robert J. Pease, retired in December of 2004. It is now the Curren family running the business - Meredith Curren, CEO and her brother Francis Curren III, President of Pease & Curren.
