Family Tradition still shines at West Point Ring Melting Ceremony: The Long Gray Line continues as Pease & Curren melts rings of several West Point graduates to be used for the Class of 2009 rings. The ceremony was held on Monday March 31, 2008 at Pease & Curren Inc. Each new ring for the 2009 graduates will contain particles from the rings of the participating West Point Officers, creating a physical link between generations of graduates. Family is an important theme at this event, as several family members, graduates, and cadets will gather for this special tradition.
